How To Replace Fear With Faith- Napoleon Hill Think And Grow Rich

There are so many lessons we can learn from the writings of the great Napoleon Hill, author of “Think and Grow Rich.” One of my favorites is the formula for success. This formula was elaborated by Sharon Lechter in her book Think And Grow Rich For Women.
Mentioned In Episode: Equation for Success
[(Passion + Talent) x Association x Action] + Faith = Personal Success
P = Passion
What are you passionate about? What makes you feel butterflies in your stomach? Think about the times in your life when you have been most fulfilled. What were you doing? Do what you love, love what you do, not the other way around.
We covered an example of a business owner who started a business in the beauty industry because it was lucrative but she had no passion or talent for the industry.
T = Talent
In what activities do you excel? What are your talents? Are you a great communicator? Are you creative? Are you gifted? Combine your passion and your talent.
This doesn’t mean that if you hate your current job you quit tomorrow! No! We will gradually find ways to ignite your passion and generate an exit plan.
A = Association
Association refers to the people and organizations you surround yourself with. Think of the five people you spend the most time with. Do they support you? Are they successful? Do you need to change your associations?
Can you learn their lessons so you don’t have to go through the same obstacles they went? That would be ideal!
Collaboration, not competition. Having the right people around you. Controlling your environment. Creating an environment of being able to accelerate your growth.
The concept of collaboration as discussed in the book The Science of Getting Rich by Wallace Wattles.
A = Action
Making a change requires taking action. Are you really committed to improving your life, or are you just attracted to the possibility? You’ve got to go the extra mile you’ve got to take action. You have to work towards achieving your goal.
Many people see the end result but they don’t see the struggle. I shared here the story when I left Beachbody to represent another company and my reputation was questioned. I didn’t want to open my social media accounts. But I knew I needed to take action.
F = Faith
This is often the toughest part of the equation to master. Having faith means believing in yourself and your idea despite the obstacles you may encounter. Converting fear into faith. Have faith in yourself, have faith in what you are doing, which helps you create that great success.
I’m discussing here how does it look when we let fears dominate us. We decline opportunities and close doors that we’re not supposed to.
